The UK’s leading comprehensive orthodontic course for GDP’s

Orthodontics is booming but most courses don’t even cover the basics of diagnosis, biomechanics and creating alternative treatment plans. It makes business sense to create treatment plans for your patients based on bio-mechanical principles rather than preferred appliances or techniques, and to present your orthodontic cases in a manner that is understood and respected globally.

You will learn how to document your cases in such a way that they will be eligible as clinical cases for further studies (Diploma or MSC).

More content (was 9 days, now 12), now includes the use of mini screws, Secret Smile lingual appliances, marketing and digital dentistry.

More hands-on content: Mini Screws – making sectional appliances. Secret Smile – lingual bonding a case up on a typodont. Intra oral scanning and digital design, wire bending, ceph tracing, surgery bonded retainers.

Lessons: 12 Days Duration: 12 Months CPD Hours: 84 Hours
Delegates: 12 Restrictions: None Suited For: GDP’s with basic Ortho knowledge

Core of Knowledge is our flagship course. It’s a springboard into a new chapter of your career. Sign up if you want to enjoy dentistry again and take advantage of the unlimited business opportunities now available in orthodontics.

You will start thinking and practising like an orthodontist, and will probably want to keep learning, setting your earnings on a long term upward trajectory. Many delegates get one new case a month, worth £36k a year, and some start four or five.

Three quarters of Core of Knowledge delegates do another Wired course because they understand that extra skills like Mini Screws and Lingual (included in 12 day course) build profits exponentially.
